Bissell ProHeat 2X

Go on to any review site, look around Amazon or any store selling carpet cleaners and you will realise pretty quickly that Bissell is one of the big and most respected manufacturers of domestic carpet steam cleaners. With around 20 upright models alone this is definitely a brand to consider and with so many models to choose from you could spend all day just working out which Bissell is right for you. Certainly they seem to have a steam cleaner for every occasion.

There stand out model is arguably their ProHeat 2x range. As the name suggests it is the next evolution of the Bissell upright steam cleaner after their original ProHeat model. Even within the ProHeat 2 range there are five different versions of this range to consider. Before we look at each individually lets take an overview of this make and what it’s offering.

Internal water heating – This is a great feature that takes the hot water you put into the machine and then keeps it continually hot through out your work. Depending on the type of carpets and level of grime you are dealing with you can actually heat the water further, taking it up to 25° hotter than normal hot tap water.

1 Galeon Water Tank Capacity – It’s simple the more water you have in the machine the longer you can clean before refilling, great!

Surround Suction – With extra strong suction continuing around the sides of the machine you can be sure of effective cleaning right up to the edges of carpets and walls.

2x 12 inch rotating brushes – With their special dirt lifting brushes, which they promise are strong enough to pull up dirt but soft enough not to damage your carpet, you get a large 12 inch cleaning path.
